With nearly three decades of experience in the financial services industry, Scott Sonnenberg has built his career on integrity, consistency, and a deep commitment to helping clients achieve lasting financial confidence.
Scott began his career as a financial representative, where for eight years he developed a loyal client base through honesty, transparency, and a personalized approach to retirement planning. His dedication to doing what’s right for clients led him to leadership and executive roles, where he spent the next 12 years training, supervising, and guiding other advisors toward excellence.
After 20 years with his first firm, Scott co-founded Golden Oak Financial, where he continues his mission to bring back the kind of client service people used to expect—personal, attentive, and rooted in genuine care.
Today, Scott blends the wisdom and relationship values of the past with the power of modern technology to deliver precise, customized retirement strategies. Andy Jaikaran is a Co-Founder and Licensed Agent at Golden Oak Financial Services, where he is deeply committed to helping individuals and families protect what they’ve built and plan confidently for the future. With over a decade of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, Andy brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to retirement planning, income strategies, Social Security optimization, and insurance solutions.
Andy’s passion for financial education and risk-aware planning began long before his professional career. In 2008, he witnessed his parents lose more than half of their retirement portfolio due to market volatility and a lack of proper guidance. As their savings diminished, they were forced to continue working well beyond their intended retirement years. That experience became the catalyst for Andy’s decision to enter the financial services industry, with a clear mission: to help others avoid similar hardships through education, clarity, and proactive financial planning.
At Golden Oak Financial Services, Andy specializes in building customized strategies designed to minimize unnecessary risk, maximize income opportunities, and support long-term financial independence. He places a strong emphasis on multigenerational planning, helping families create strategies that not only support their current needs but also leave a meaningful legacy for future generations.
Andy holds the National Social Security Advisor Certificate and maintains multiple professional licenses, including Series 65, Life, Health, and Annuities, as well as a Real Estate License. Sarah Holland serves as the Executive Operations & Client Relations Lead at Golden Oak Financial Services, where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring every client experience is seamless, thoughtful, and rooted in trust.
With a strong background in operations management, marketing strategy, and client communications, Sarah brings both structure and heart to the Golden Oak team. She is responsible for overseeing internal systems, supporting licensed advisors, and acting as a key point of connection between clients and the firm, making sure questions are answered, processes are clear, and relationships are nurtured at every stage.
Sarah is known for her ability to translate complex workflows into organized, client-friendly experiences. Whether she’s refining internal processes or coordinating across departments, her focus remains the same: clarity, consistency, and care.
At Golden Oak, Sarah helps uphold the firm’s commitment to integrity, professionalism, and long-term relationships. Alexander helps clients navigate financial challenges with clarity and strategy. He specializes in tax planning, business accounting, and long-term financial management—empowering business owners to make informed decisions and achieve sustainable growth.
His mission is to help clients gain control, confidence, and peace of mind in their financial future through a proactive, personalized approach.
MANAGING DIRECTOR
I was born in 1978 and raised in Bethlehem Pennsylvania, which was well known back then for manufacturing steel. My parents played a big part in my upbringing, instilling their strong moral values in me. Both of my parents are very conservative, growing up my father was a middle school principal and my mother was a reading specialist so you can be assured that education was very important in our family.
After graduating in the top 10% of my high school class, I was granted early acceptance to Lehigh University which is considered one of the twenty-four “Hidden Ivies” in the Northeastern United States. Graduating from Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics helped me obtain a position at JP Morgan Chase one of the oldest financial institutions in the United States. The knowledge and experiences learned at JP Morgan Chase, helped catapult my career to being one of the youngest Directors at Safeguard Financial and ultimately allowing me to become the Managing Director of Heritage Financial Wealth Management.
I contribute my success to the strong values that were instilled in me by my parents. From a very young age I was always told that the most important thing is education, and that success will follow.
